This is a new twist on a very old design, George Washington Sears' Nessmuk. Shown are 2 versions, both of which are forged blades. One is forged in W2, showing a dramatic Hamon. Handle scales are Arizona Desert Ironwood mounted on a tapered tang. The other Nessmuk is forged in 5160, with handle scales of black G10, also mounted on a tapered tang.
Both of these fine knives were made for soldiers serving in Iraq.
